咨询 and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers training experiences for graduate students enrolled in doctoral programs in Clinical or 咨询 Psychology. 我们提供 advanced practicum counselor positions, Psychology Internship in Health Service Psychology, and Multicultural Post-doctoral Residencies.

A pertinent goal of the 菠菜网lol正规平台 Psychology (Doctoral) Training Program is to provide high quality learning experiences to graduate students and post graduate students in counseling and clinical psychology in preparation for a career in mental health, particularly in working with a very diverse university population.

To help attain this goal, the counseling faculty has a strong commitment to supervise, teach, and mentor our trainees. We are proud members of the Association of 咨询 Center Training Agencies (ACCTA) - a national organization for training programs within university counseling centers. Our pre-doctoral internship program is recognized as a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Council (APPIC) and is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).

We are committed to training doctoral students for work in a diverse world. 而 the field of psychology as a whole has embraced the importance of multicultural awareness and competence, this is a commitment that we reaffirm daily. We believe that as important as skills training is, it is important to teach that learning never stops.
